I have one more run this season, the Mews Gear and Beer 5K. I set a PR at this race last year and look to set another one this year. I kinda figured out my race schedule for next year. I will post it shortly. I am going to extend my distance in running and triathlons. My A race will be the Cranberry Country Oly Triathlon which I missed this year and the Hartford Half Marathon. I am definately setting the bar high for myself and have a long road of training ahead of me. But I am confident that I can accomplish the goals that I am going to set for myself. I think my first goal is to lose a little more weight. I have lost around 11 pounds in the past month, but I need to lose at least another 20 - 25 before the end of the year. My ankles have been hurting lately after my runs and I think my weight is a big factor to that. So first goal...Lose 20 lbs by Christmas!!!!!
I came into this race really wanting to set a PR. Mission Accomplished! NEW PR 27:35!!!10 seconds faster then my previous PR. I am really excited right now. I have one more race on the schedule for this season, the Mews Gear and Beer 5K in November. I will beat my new PR at that race!!!!
